• Recommendations has one new category now: Music Recs!
  You can find it in Recommended as of writing, and it includes links to Discogs and youtube. Unfortunately I can't host the songs on site and Bandcamp as far as I know doesn't have an embed feature, so the page is relying pretty heavily on youtube embeds right now.
  Currently the only genres I have listed are Metal, Rock and Ska, but I imagine over time that list will get longer. I mean, I wasn't expecting King Gizzard's Murder of the Universe to make it onto my favorite albums list, I'm not opposed to that happening again with something else.
  
  Two smaller updates this month: I redid the webring cards so they look a little more uniform in terms of size (and because the grid system I had for them initially was slapdash and miserable to update).
  Second, there were a lot of titles for external links missing from the Art Gallery- those are fixed now. As far as I can tell, there's no more accessibility stuff that needs to be adressed, so it should play nicer with screen readers now.

• Happy really late New Year!
  Finally managed to get the Recommendations page done and finalized, so I can officially cross off the plan I set last year, now. I'm hoping to add more articles to Recs in the future, but I'm pretty happy with the ones I've got right now. :)
  I also did some misc work around the website to hopefully make it more accessible, mostly adding titles to links and buttons, and alt text to pictures and icons. I'll be keeping an eye out for stuff in the future but if something get's past me, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to correct it.

• Added this update box to keep track of what I've finished and what I haven't. Next: Moving the things I like above to a different page. I also finally fixed the copyright on the Home page so that it's actually at a set position. I'd like to actually have a writing section at some point instead of a link to Toyhou.se, but I'd need to actually finish something before that happens.
  Update (8/29/25):
  I've decided to keep the things I like section on the home page for now, instead of moving it somewhere else like this update implied. It's the only part of the site besides the first paragraph that hasn't been changed since I started this project.

• Really big update: Went through all the misc images and added alt text, fixed up some graphics so they're actually transparent, and finished the Friend Sites page. Really small difference but all the sidenav shitposts have white outlines now. I like it better this way, I think.

• Finished up work on the Art Gallery, it should fade properly when you hover over individual frames now. Thank god for inline-block and w3.
